While AI tools have made certain tasks faster, there are several reasons why nothing compares to the expertise and creativity of a skilled designer when it comes to crafting a logo. Here are a few reasons why and also the results I got from asking Ai to produce a logo for this project.

I asked Ai for my requests and occasionally specifics such as not a round logo were ignored, the colour palette was dull and the Pier wasn't the right shape. Also, where does Ai get these images from? More often than not the images come from sources online and copyright is questionable so you risk using someone else's work without permission or end up with the same logo as someone else. Please don't take the risk or make that mistake- save your time and employ a real designer.

When the Clevedon Nature and Climate Partnership approached me to create a new logo and brand identity, they had a clear vision: a logo that would reflect their collaborative approach to protecting and enhancing the local environment. I'm an illustrator, freelance graphic designer and artist with nearly 20 years experience of working on eye-catching tourism campaigns, multi-million pound bids, illustrated maps, company branding, personalised illustrations and more.
I split my time between the beautiful seaside town of Clevedon, North Somerset and Alicante in sunny Southern Spain. These two places provide inspiration and encourage creative expression in my designs. I can also help with projects that are required in Spanish or English.
