Last weekend saw another fantastic Dig For Victory Show, and it made me realise that I've now had the pleasure of working with the event for ten years. It's always a project I look forward to. Combining history, heritage, illustration and visitor engagement, it's the perfect opportunity to create designs that are both practical and visually engaging. Over the years I've produced a wide range of promotional materials for the show, helping visitors navigate the event and make the most of their day. This year's work included:
I particularly enjoy creating illustrated maps for visitor attractions and events. A well-designed map doesn't just help people find their way around – it becomes part of the visitor experience itself, encouraging exploration and highlighting the many activities and attractions on offer. Working on the Dig For Victory Show over the past decade has been incredibly rewarding, and it's been wonderful to see the event continue to grow while celebrating Britain's wartime heritage and rural traditions. If you're looking for bespoke illustrated maps, visitor guides, interpretation panels or promotional materials for an event, museum, visitor attraction or heritage site, I'd love to hear from you.
