The Home of Beautifully Designed Information Boards

What are information boards?
Information boards can explain anything you want. From the local history to wildlife, walking routes, street art routes, geology, TV and movie filming spots and more.

Who do information boards benefit?
Tourists, locals, companies, enthusiasts and schools.

What do information boards contain?
Anything you want! Some suggestions include detailed illustrated map accompanied by local information, amenities, key, walking routes, areas of interest and website details for further information. Using my seamless blend of illustration and graphic design I am able to effectively produce these eye catching boards.
Why are information boards a good idea?
  • They prevent visitors getting lost due to the lack of clear navigation and guidance. e.g locating toilets.
  • Stop inefficient use of tourist time as they struggle to find key attractions.
  • Increase tourist satisfaction due to clear and up to date information.
  • Clearly showcase the town/area's unique features and historical sites, highlighting hidden gems or lesser-known attractions.
  • Effectively communicate the town’s cultural and artistic offerings.
  • Support local businesses that could benefit from increased visibility.
  • Increase potential for tourists to share positive experiences online with use of QR codes.
  • Positive understanding of the town’s layout and historical context.
  • Increased effectiveness of marketing efforts without tangible and visible information points.
  • Fostering a sense of community and pride among locals and visitors alike.
I can draw absolutely anything! These illustrations combine digital vectors with watercolours for the greenery.

The process: how the information boards get put together.

Get in touch for a quote
  1. Firstly - get in touch for a quote.
  2. We will discuss sizes and how much information you want on the boards so I can advise on images numbers, accompanied text and the word count.
  3. You will tell me the area you want to cover and any specific buildings to draw, so I can illustrate a beautifully clear map in your brand colours or suggestions of my own.
  4. You provide images, text, logos plus any contact details for the boards and I will create the layout and advise on the quality of images, etc to make sure the final outcome is perfect. I can create QR codes linking to your website.
  5. I provide print ready artwork to  yourself or direct to a printer of your choice. I can also advise on a printer and installer of the boards.
  6. Once the maps are created the options for their use is limitless. Why not commission some walking maps to display on your website? The Clevedon Walking Maps page is the most visited page on Discover Clevedon's website, and I produced them.
  7. The turn around for one board with a map is within a week (depending on the complexity of the area to illustrate as a map) if you provide me with everything I need in one go.

Lots of the maps I have worked on receive funding from Charities or Government initiatives, so here is a document you can download for a meeting to help provide a good argument to why the boards are a great idea.
