Today I'm releasing my new jigsaw puzzle -- a limited run of Bristol's iconic Clifton Suspension Bridge! I was so pleased with how my jigsaw puzzles of Clevedon Pier were received, and having finished the landscaped Pier puzzle myself, I was keen to create another one, this time using a refreshed image of mine of Clifton Suspension Bridge, which amazingly starred in the New Year's Day 2021 episode of Dr. Who! See how many Bristol references you can spot (hint, something snappy). The new Bristol Clifton Suspension Bridge jigsaw puzzle itself is 1,000 pieces, made from recycled card, and produced for me by Ravensburger. Did you spot Bristol's iconic Clifton Suspension Bridge on the "Revolution of the Daleks" episode of the BBC's "Dr. Who" that aired on New Year's Day, 2021?
The landmark was taken over by The Daleks -- and I won't say any more than that, in case you haven't seen it yet, but you can watch the trailer with Jodie Whittaker as the current Doctor here: The scenes were actually filmed way back in October 2019. The bridge was shut for inspections at the time, or so they said, but then someone took a picture of The Daleks. Then it was just a case of waiting for the episode to air!
