I really enjoyed working on this commission to produce a selection of South African-themed animals for a feature wall in a client's house.
The animals -- including a clouded leopard and a Knysna Loerie -- were printed on adhesive vinyl and then applied to the statement wall. As I create all my art as vectors, they can be scaled up to any size and won't lose their quality. See the work below, and get in touch through my contact page if it's something you'd like. I'm now taking commissions for 2021. I can use some of my existing illustrations -- see a sample on my Etsy page here -- or something custom-created,

There is a beautiful Christmas lights display in Alexandra Gardens in Clevedon at the moment!
Funded by Clevedon businesses, the Clevedon BID has put up some beautiful lights in the park between the two independent shopping streets of Alexandra Road and Hill Road to make it look like an enchanted forest at night. They are switched on at 3pm every night and there are also other lights on Hill Road and Alexandra Road. The park itself is a beautiful place to visit in the day too as dozens of squirrels charge around, up and down the trees. It's also just a short walk from the seafront and Clevedon Pier. Here are some of my pictures of the Clevedon Christmas lights (you can click on each picture to see my designs of Clevedon too):
And the Discover Clevedon post on Instagram about the lights too:
Did you know? I've also created a limited range of eco-friendly, hand-made cushion covers, napkins, tea towels and lavender bags with my designs on. They are made from recycled polyester and organic cotton, highlight animals that are at risk of extinction and make great environmentally-conscious Christmas gifts and stocking fillers! SCROLL DOWN TO SEE A SAMPLE OF THE ECO-FRIENDLY CHRISTMAS GIFTS. There's my Paradise collection -- featuring orang-utans, Sumatran tigers, green peacocks and clouded leopards. And my British insects collection -- featuring bumblebees, the Chalkhill blue butterfly, the silver skipper spotted moth and the swallowtail butterfly. I sourced the recycled fabrics from a UK company and the covers, napkins and tea towels were put together by a local Clevedon-based seamstress. The lavender bags were created from offcuts from the other products, meaning none of the fabric I bought went to waste. This is a limited edition range that I'm really proud of -- once they are gone, they are gone! -- and think they make the perfect eco-friendly Christmas stocking stuffers! Visit my Etsy store to see the products. I've also sold the patterns as rolls of fabric, and they can be adapted to any other product too (such as adult and child matching aprons, wallpaper, mugs, etc..). My vector illustrations can be scaled up to any size (I've recently created some bespoke wall art for a client). So if that's something you'd be interested in, then please get in touch through the contact page. See a sample of the eco-friendly and handmade cushions, napkins, tea towels and lavender bags below. Puffins are my favourite birds, so this year I released these puffin Christmas cards. I've seen puffins on the beautiful Farne Islands, off the coast of Northumberland, once. We stayed in the lovely little town of Seahouses and went for walks on the massive beaches before heading up to the North York Moors and having an amazing fish and chips at the Magpie in Whitby. I've also seen puffins on Skomer Island, off the Pembrokeshire coast, twice -- where it involved a very early start and drive across Wales because you can't book tickets on the boat, it's first come first served. Anyway, my puffin Christmas cards are available to buy on my Etsy page here. They are also available as part of my Christmas birds pack (featuring robins, partridges and owls) on my Etsy page here. I've also got this non-Christmas puffin greetings card for sale on my Etsy. As with all my cards, they are printed on thick recycled paper, come with an envelope made from recycled paper and are packaged in a biodegradable packet.
These images are also available as one-off prints, please get in touch via the contact page if you would like something customised. 🚨 COMPETITION & DISCOUNT NEWS 🚨 Win 1 pack of my newly released 4x CIevedon Pier coasters -- worth £16 -- to celebrate their launch. Living near Bristol, I've crossed the beautiful Clifton Suspension Bridge countless times and I always marvel at what an amazing structure it is! To pay tribute, I designed this Clifton Suspension Bridge Christmas card that's available to buy on my Etsy store here. It's printed on thick recycled paper and comes with an envelope made of recycled paper and a biodegradable corn starch bag. I've also illustrated the Clifton Suspension Bridge as a non-Christmas scene card, and it is available as a print on request.
You can also put yourself into the picture. Please get in touch via the contact page if this is something you may be interested in. Today I'm releasing my brand new design -- my London Christmas card. It features a couple walking hand in hand on London's South Bank, with the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben and Portcullis House in the background. There's even a cameo from a little London fox and some pigeons. The card is printed on thick recycled paper and comes with an envelope made of recycled paper. It is packaged in a corn starch biodegradable bag. Buy London Christmas card through my Etsy shop here. Christmas is one of my favourite times of the year, so it's not a surprise to people who know me that I love designing things for the festive period.

Wells in Somerset is the smallest city in England, and it's also one of the most beautiful!
I've spent quite a bit time in Wells. I worked for a company based there and even had a stall at a couple of the city's Christmas markets, so it was great fun to illustrate Wells Cathedral and The Bishop's Palace for these Somerset Christmas cards. Buy Wells Christmas cards from my Etsy shop here.
Fun fact: Wells has played host to lots and lots of films and television shows -- including Doctor Who, Poldark, Wolf Hall and Hot Fuzz.
These cards are also available as prints, or you can put yourself into the picture for an extra special gift. Get in touch via the contact page. Follow me for more updates on Instagram here. I was really happy to sell out of my first ever Clevedon Pier jigsaw, that I released as a limited edition of just 5 last week. Lots of people asked if there would be any more, so I've created an initial limited run of 20 of a new 1,000 piece Clevedon Pier jigsaw. This one is a landscape version of an illustration that I've never printed as a poster before. Buy Clevedon Pier jigsaw puzzle via my Etsy here. This jigsaw is made by Ravensburger, Europe’s leading jigsaw specialist.
It measures 70 x 50 cm and is made from recycled, extra-strong card. See my other designs of Clevedon on my Etsy page -- including one of Clevedon's Curzon Cinema and Clevedon Pier with One Direction's Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik filming their 2014 music video for 'You & I.' Please get in touch if you'd like a bespoke illustration -- or to put yourself into one of my existing prints for that extra special gift. My bonkers and adorable cockapoo (or cockerpoo, does anyone have a definitive spelling?) Larry was the inspiration for this cockapoo Christmas card -- he's on the right here with two of his best friends who often tear about the woods together getting up to mischief!
The church in the background is inspired by the beautiful Butleigh Church in Somerset, southwest England, not far from Glastonbury. These cockerpoo Christmas cards are A6 sized -- and made of recycled paper. They come with a recycled scarlet envelope and are packaged in compostable corn starch bags. Buy cockapoo Christmas cards through my Etsy page here. I also sell a cockerpoo birthday card here. Want the image as a print? Or want to put yourself or your pup (doesn't have to be a cockapoo) into the picture? Get in touch via the contact page above. It's always a lovely surprise when a magazine drops through the door and some of my work is featured inside it! The November 2020 edition of the Clevedon & Yatton Living magazine features a story -- on page 6 -- about the logo that I recreated to mark the 50th anniversary of the collapse of the beautiful Clevedon Pier in north Somerset, England, The plaque was unveiled on the point where the pier actually collapsed by Julia Elton, the daughter of Sir Arthur Elton who founded the Clevedon Pier Preservation Trust.
I've illustrated Clevedon Pier in various ways over the last few years -- and turned them into Christmas cards, greetings cards, prints and even a jigsaw. Visit my Etsy for more info, Here's the front page of this month's Clevedon & Yatton Living magazine too: This weekend I'm taking part in Country Living magazine's "Christmas At Home" online artisan pop-up market!
Get 20% off my products on Etsy through the fair. Offer runs from midday on Friday, November 6 to midnight on Sunday, November 8, 2020. 1. Here's the front page of the event guide (my details are on page 39). 'Tis the season to be spray painting? I'm pleased to reveal my brand new street art / graffiti themed Christmas card for 2020 -- featuring Santa Claus doing a 'Banksy' (or is Banksy actually doing a Father Christmas?!?) and wishing everyone a merry Christmas in an undetermined location. Of course, he's using eco-friendly spray paints: It's inspired by my husband who's taken me to many street art events, festivals and shows over the last few years -- in London, Bristol's annual street art festival UpFest, Banksy's "Banksy versus Bristol Museum," his amazing "Dismaland" at the old Tropicana swimming complex in Weston-super-Mare in Somerset, for which we even managed to get tickets to the grand finale Masked Ball!
The cards are made from thick recycled paper, the envelopes are from recycled materials and they are packed for delivery in compostable bags. Visit my Etsy page to buy the Graffiti Street Art Christmas card here. And see the rest of my Etsy page here.
